The Development of Critical Success Factors of BI System Implementation’s Projects

The volume of the master's dissertation is 72 pages, 6 figures and 8 tables. When writing the work, 28 sources were used. Key words: Critical Success Factors (CSF), BI, project, system. The object of the study is the projects of BI-systems implementation. The subject of the study is the features of these projects. Master's dissertation consists of an introduction, three chapters, conclusion and four applications. The introduction reveals the relevance of the research, the problem, the purpose and tasks of the research, the object is identified, the subject of scientific research is formulated, the hypothesis is formulated, the goal and tasks are set, the methodological base of the research is formulated, its theoretical, practical significance is indicated. The first chapter provides an overview of the tasks solved by BI systems. Features of BI projects are detected. As a result, the objectives of the implementation of the BI system is analyzed and the features of implementation projects is revealed. The second chapter describes the concepts of CSF, different sets of CSF for BI projects have learned, and also the methods for developing CSF sets is present. In accordance with the features of projects for the implementation of BI-systems, sources of CSF is identified. In the third chapter analyzes of sources of CSF's is performed and, based on it, set of technological success factors is developed. Further development of performance indicators applied for this set of CSF's, according to which, should be applied CSF's on real projects. Also, this chapter describes the results of an expert survey, according to which a set of technological critical success factors is formed and a description of the application of this set with those already existing on a real project. Thus, the significance of the results and the main achievements are described in conclusion.
