This paper issues the problem of stakeholder engagement in M&A projects and programmers in higher education. It is shown, that features of the merger process combined, created the system, where stakeholder involvement, government support and shared vision of mergers’ mission became key success factors of the merger. Based on those factors and AA1000SES methodology, the framework for efficient stakeholder management were suggested.
