So today small business accounts for about 20% of the country's GDP, while their contribution to developed economies can exceed 50%. In the sphere of small business in Russia employs about 18 million people. According to the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin, the number of people wishing to engage in private business decreases every day. Another negative trend is the outflow of workers from small and medium-sized enterprises. Business is more and more willing to go into the shadows. To prevent the reduction of legal entrepreneurial activity, the president proposed to protect the business from bribes and "roofing." According to V.Putin, equal conditions should be created for all entrepreneurs. However, despite the authorities' actions to support entrepreneurship in Russia, the number of small and medium-sized enterprises has never returned to pre-crisis indicators. Today, many of the government support measures cause skepticism in the business community. According to experts, state decisions for entrepreneurs are sometimes worse than the crisis itself. The impact of the crisis on entrepreneurial activity in Russia is minimal. The most powerful influence on the development of business in our country is provided by the tax policy.
