The Protection of the Rights of the Person and the Citizen in the Field of Information Security

The purpose of my research is a general theoretical study of the essence, content of the protection of human rights and citizens in the field of information security, as well as the development of proposals for improving legislation in information security. The main objectives of this study are: A) systematization of various approaches to understanding information, definition of the concept of "information security" through other, already existing definitions; B) investigation of problems related to the implementation and protection of these rights; D) analysis of the international legal regulation of the information security of the individual through a detailed study of the provisions of national legislation in foreign countries and international documents; E) analysis of the national legal regulation of the information security of the individual by studying information legislation of various levels; F) studying the role of the President of Russian Federation, legislative and executive authorities in protecting information rights and freedoms of a person and citizen in Russian Federation; G) studying the role of the European Court of Human Rights in the field of information security; H) based on the generalization of foreign and Russian experience in regulating the protection of human rights in the information sphere, to develop recommendations for obtaining information, preserving and strengthening the moral values of society, the cultural and scientific potential of the country. The practical significance of the work lies in the theoretical justification of answers to questions that arise in the process of informatization with the growth of relations in the information sphere. The concepts of information, information security, cybersecurity, information security of the individual, human rights in the information sphere were developed.
