Quality Management Role in Enhancing the Competitiveness of Products

For each organization, manufacturing products, product quality is the most important part of doing business, because the higher the quality of the product, the higher the organization's competitiveness in the market and the bigger share in the market segment that the organization occupies. So, the art of quality management can give an organization a huge advantage over related products of competitors. So, the given topic concerning the impact of quality management on the competitiveness of the products is nowadays highly relevant. The aim of this study is to understand the role of quality management in enhancing competitiveness of the products under conditions of monopolistic competition. In the practical part of this study two of the bakeries are reviewed, they are located close to each other and are monopolists in the city of Cheboksary. In the study we carried out some econometric analysis and the ABC analysis of products in the bakeries, which showed that, in the enterprise № 1 production, is still more efficient, while plant № 2 will have to spend more money on the modification of its production. As the indicators of balance of bakery № 2 in comparison with the balance of bakery № 1 look worse, because bakery № 2 was selected for further analysis, and, therefore, this plant is of greater interest. Next, we conducted an economic analysis on the bakery №2, and namely, liquidity, solvency, financial stability, business activity and profitability were analyzed and ways to improve the economic situation in the enterprise were suggested. Thus, for, the situation in the enterprise is not very good and needs change. To improve this situation, implementation of Kaizen system elements in the enterprise will help, for example, TQC, automation, system of suggestions, "Kanban", zero defects, small group work, cooperative relationship between workers and management, development of new products, AQI, the PDCA cycle.
