Abstract for a thesis on the topic Civil-law methods of protection of exclusive rights on a trademark Completed by a student at the Faculty of Law, HSE Khaymanov Ilya Gennadievich The main goal of the research is to determine and study the methods of civil protection of exclusive rights to a trademark, as well as to study their legal nature. Achievement of the set goal will be achieved by solving a number of practical problems: - Definitions of a trademark as a legal category, consideration of its functions and attributes - The study of the essence of the exclusive right, its nature and the grounds for the emergence and termination - Definition and study of methods of protection of the exclusive right to a trademark, and measures of responsibility applied for violation of the exclusive right to a trademark. The sources of this diploma work were the Normative and Legal Acts of the Russian Federation, judicial practice, including judgments of courts of all levels, scientific literature: monographs, dissertations and articles on specified and related topics. Structure of the research: The work consists of an introduction, three chapters that reveal the given topic and contribute to the achievement of the purpose of this study, the conclusion and the list of references used. Methodology of research: Methodological basic research is the dialectical method of scientific knowledge, system analysis. As a special method of cognition, historical-legal, comparative-legal, formal-logical, system-structural and a number of other methods were used in the study. The urgency lies in the fact that an attempt is made to comprehensively study the problems of legal regulation and law enforcement practice with respect to the use of civil law methods for protecting exclusive rights to a trademark
