The study of the prosocial behavior of individuals, as well as conflicts based on interactions with individuals with diverse deviations, is becoming highly relevant for the harmonious development of society. Incomplete understanding of the basis of prosocial behavior inevitably leads to the formation of distortions in models of various social structures and organizations. The issue of the severity of the pathological aspects of altruism and moral masochism in the teaching environment has not been practically studied. There was no psychoanalytic study of these problems. Psychoanalytic study of the peculiarities of altruistic behavior of teachers of correctional educational organizations and possible deviations, moral masochism, has increased relevance. The purpose of the work: the improvement of the psychological support of teaching activity by the methods of psychoanalytic study of variants of altruistic behavior among the teachers and possible deviations with certain features of personality characteristics (masochistic or sadistic). Research hypothesis: The choice of profession of a teacher working with deviant adolescents is determined either by specific motivation (altruism, pathological altruism) or by personality characteristics (possibly masochistic or sadistic). The scientific problem solved by this research is the collection of new data on the severity of various forms of altruism and moral masochism in the educational environment, and the primary data on the presence of deviations: the personal characteristics of individuals (expressed masochistic and sadistic patterns). Current investigation can be the basis for diagnostic and corrective studies in future. The comprehensive psychoanalytic study was conducted in the school environment and data on the severity of the pathological aspects of altruism and moral masochism were collected.
