Industrial policy has a significant influence on a growth in the modern world, since the development of the most knowledge-intensive and technologically complex industry can serve as a locomotive for other industries. Thanks to numerous economic and scientific and technical relations with medicine, the military-industrial complex, the automobile industry and many other areas of the economy, industrial policy directed to electronics manufacturers, in particular microelectronics, will contribute to progress both in the target sector and in the above sectors. This work is devoted to the study of Russian and foreign experience of conducting state policy aimed at increasing the production and export of radio electronics. The paper also analyzes the effectiveness of industrial policy measures to support the electronic industry using historical and statistical methods, and also builds an empirical model of the industry's output by regression analysis of panel data. Based on the results of the analysis, a strategic vision of priority industrial policy measures was formulated that will contribute to the development of domestic radioelectronics firms.
