Russian Agricultural Producers’ Exports Reallocation as a Consequence of Economic Counter-Sanctions

This study deals with a crucial part of the Russian economy - the agricultural sector. The sanctions implemented in 2014 against Russian Federation have dramatically changed the internal market structure as the agricultural sector appears to be one of the largest in the entire Russian economy. This paper attempts to study the consequences of the sanctions and counter sanctions implementation, and provide recommendations on improving the efficiency of sales and marketing business activities of Russian agricultural producers which can be tailored to the specifics of the firm and the industry and utilized by the agricultural businesses.
