Improving Material Management of Production Company Based on Lean Production Methodologies

Due to increased competition in the supply chain, companies invest heavily in attracting and retaining customers, as well as in increasing profits and reducing costs. This paper proposes to consider the concept of lean manufacturing, as a way to improve the management of the material flow of an enterprise in the automotive industry. The concept of lean production became known in connection with the desire for high standards of product quality, reduction of production costs, rapid response to consumer demand. These arguments in favor of the concept of lean production are especially important for the automotive industry, which gradually slows down the growth rate, due to a decrease in the purchasing power of the population. Therefore, every company in the industry is trying to somehow improve its performance indicators. The scientific novelty consists in the fact that the author's classification of lean technology estimation indicators is presented in the work. The purpose of this work is to improve the material management system using lean manufacturing technology.
