Risk Perceptions of Internet Banking among Russian Mobile Device Users

The purpose of this work is to specify the factors (cultural theory) that can influence risk perception in the area of mobile banking among principal groups: income, age and membership in expert group. For this reason, I analyzed database involving 39 interviews with users of mobile banking application from Moscow. The results showed that there are many diverse factors, such as level of income, functionality of mobile application, membership in expert group, etc. The analysis also demonstrated that types of risk, risk perception and risk management are varied depending on factors. From these results, it may be stated that different social of groups have different risk perception of mobile banking applications. It`s important to notice, that people provide o lot of benefits of internet banking usage, such as time saving, they don`t need to go to bank office or find an ATM. In addition, they remark, this benefits are greater than possible risks. Nowadays internet banking is essential part of persons finances usage.
