In this work the empirical analysis which shows on how many are effective is carried out and technical indicators when forecasting future prices can be inefficient. On the basis of this analysis the researcher received results which allow to doubt efficiency of use of the most widespread technical indicators as key tools for forecasting of future quotations. It I confirm some works which show what about the technical analysis loses the efficiency in process of its general distribution. Novelty of this work, the fact that the author checked a hypothesis that when using the technical analysis, it is possible to get big profit when using in the place with technical indicators, this on changes of amounts of transactions in the market is and as a result of a research I received separate positive results, despite an overall negative picture. This analysis also allowed to compare efficiency of all these methods in various markets and to come to a conclusion about that, the foreign exchange market in general is not the most suitable market for use of the technical analysis.
