Health tourism is a mass and popular tourism destination that has existed since ancient times. Since the end of the twentieth century, a whole health industry has emerged in world tourism, which encompasses virtually all continents and many countries around the world. But to date, there is a lack of empirical research comparing socio-demographic profiles of health-improving tourist groups. It is important to determine whether health tourists are a homogeneous group, and whether such tourists have different demographic profiles. Thus, an important objective of this study is to compare the socio-demographic characteristics and characteristics of expectations of travel and the level of satisfaction of tourists traveling to recreational recreation. Key variables used to distinguish potentially different tourist segments are expectations from recreational recreation, as well as the level of satisfaction that tourists received from health services.
