Criminal Liability for an Act of Terrorism

The present research studies criminal liability for an act of terrorism. This study consist of the following structural elements: three chapters (“The law characteristics criminalizing acts of terrorism”, ”Criminal-legal features of an act of terrorism” and “The problem of criminal responsibility for acts of terrorism”), which in turn are divided into paragraphs focusing on the history of the development of criminal responsibility for acts of terrorism, the symptoms of terrorism and issues of improving the disposition of a terrorist act. The basic methods of research are general scientific methods of cognition, as well as a number of private-scientific methods: historical and legal, systematic and structural, comparative-legal, formal-logical and others. The purpose of the present study is comprehensive research of criminal liability for an act of terrorism.
