Project Event Management for Regional Tourism Promotion (Based on Italian Wine Regions Practice)

The purpose of this master thesis is to find out how the events were conducted, conducted in the wine regions of Italy, influence the promotion of given regions and compensation for their seasonality, for the further adaptation of this experience in Russia. According to the purpose of the thesis, the following tasks were formulated: To analyze the strategies for promotion of the wine regions of Italy; To define the place of events in the promotion of the regions, by analyzing their own event practices, and also toidentify the role of the event calendar in compensating for seasonality and increasing tourism attractiveness. In the first chapter, the concepts of wine tourism development are considered, including the part of the enogastronomic event. In the second chapter, the sources used for the recording of work are given the rationale for methods of collecting and analyzing information. Moreover, the range of problems, related to the development of Krasnodarsky Krai as a region of wine tourism, for which solving the collected experience od Italy can be used. As a result, a list of author's recommendations for the development of a wine tourism in the Krasnoyarsk region with a proactive business management during the "low season" was given.
