Target Model of Power Industry' Innovation Ecosystem Development

The present master thesis is devoted to the development of the target model for Russian power industry’ innovation ecosystem. To achieve this goal, main modern concepts of innovation ecosystems’ functioning are identified, their main types are identified. Basing on the analysis of best world practices of innovation ecosystems’ functioning, their core mechanisms are identified. Current state of Russian energy sector’ innovation ecosystem was examined; its critical problems were revealed. Within the research a number of strategic sessions with the key industrial stakeholders’ representatives were performed, resulting in the assessment of the possibility of European experience in ecosystems execution within energy sector adaptation; and formation of the target model of Russian power industry’ innovation ecosystem. As a result, a target model for Russian power industry innovation ecosystem is proposed. The potential of this model execution was proved within the final strategic session with the representatives of key Russian power industry stakeholders.
