Improvement of a Company’s Logistic Strategy Based on Its Infrastructure Optimization by the Example of OOO "BASF Stroitelnye sistemy"

The aim of the qualifying paper is to improve logistics strategy of construction chemicals manufacturer and distributor by optimizing its logistics infrastructure. In the paper theoretical and methodical bases of logistics infrastructure optimization are considered, as well as distribution network reorganization and warehouse network expansion. Several solutions are suggested to the Russian branch of international chemical company in order to develop its logistics infrastructure. The main instrument of warehouse location decision making is a mathematical model, supplemented considering company's special characteristics. Economic effect of developed measures is evaluated with the use of DuPont model.
