Legal Aspects of Cross-Border Transactions with Paperless Securities

This research is devoted to the study of international treaties, norms of civil legislation of Russia and foreign countries, customs and usages governing relations arising from the cross-border circulation of paperless securities for the purpose of disclosing the features of legal regulation of cross-border circulation of paperless securities with the help of scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, comparison, induction and deduction, and specific scientific methods characteristic of jurisprudence. The structure of the study is due to the range of problems studied, its goals and objectives. The study consists of an introduction, two chapters and conclusion. The introduction substantiates the relevance of the research topic, theoretical and methodological basis of research and scientific innovation. The first chapter examines the problem of qualification of the concept "paperless securities", gives the definition of cross-border circulation of securities, studies its characteristics and methods of regulation. The second chapter is devoted to the analysis of the main regulatory approaches to cross-border circulation of classic equity paperless securities held in the direct and indirect ownership. The conclusion summarizes the research results and suggests the main findings.
