Changes in the legislation regarding the responsibility of the director of the company led to the search for internal corporate protection tools. This study is devoted to the study of liability insurance of the director of the corporation and touches upon such problems as the definition of the place of this type of insurance in the system of types of insurance under Russian law, as well as the risks that can be insured under the director's liability insurance. The author of the study comes to the conclusion that the examined type of insurance has a number of features that allow it to be recognized as a separate type of property insurance.
