The Analysis of Efficiency of Cloud Computing in Business

In order to remain competitive the company should not only monitor trends and new technologies but also apply them. These technologies include cloud computing, which are increasingly being used in business. This paper is devoted to the analysis of efficiency of application of cloud technologies in business. The purpose of this paper is to identify if cloud technologies in business are effective. To achieve the goal of the paper, the following tasks are solved: 1. Define cloud technologies, describe their main characteristics, identify the advantages and disadvantages of using cloud technologies in business 2. Identify the opportunities provided by the company's cloud technologies. 3. Explore the functions and capabilities of the cloud-based Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud solution from Kaspersky Lab 4. To evaluate the effectiveness of Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud solution in small and medium business Definition of cloud technologies is established, models of use and service of cloud technologies are described, advantages and lacks of application of cloud technologies in business are revealed. The cloud solution from Kaspersky Lab ‘Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud’ is considered. This product is designed to ensure the information security of the company. The work revealed the capabilities, functions and benefits of this cloud solution. A comparative analysis of two models of information security in companies: a traditional model (without centralized protection) and a cloud model (with centralized protection). The result of this paper is an assessment of the effectiveness of cloud technologies in business. The result of the paper was achieved through research and analysis of the Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud solution for its effectiveness in small and medium-sized businesses.
