Justification of the Concept of Creating a Data Warehouse for a Bank

Final qualifying work contains a justification of the choice of data warehouse concept for the bank. The main stages of the work are: - Analysis of various concepts of data warehouses; - Based on the Bank's internal documents, experts’ opinions and COBIT 5 methodology business and IT goals of the bank have been formed which are further expanded for the data warehouse area; - Preparation for expert review (development of questions, scales of assessments, forms, substantiation of quantitative and qualitative composition of the group); - Conducting an expert evaluation procedure, generating results (obtaining estimates, aggregating results, checking consistency of opinions); - Justification of the most suitable concept based on the experts’ opinions. The work was carried out on the example of a particular bank and has a direct practical significance. With a certain level of adaptation, the proposed approach can be used in other banks.
