Compulsory Insurance of the Civil Liability of Vehicle Owners in the Russian Federation

E. D. Tsybin Compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of vehicles in the Russian Federation The purpose of this final qualifying work is the study of compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of vehicles in the Russian Federation. Final qualifying work consists of introduction, three chapters, eleven paragraphs, conclusion and list of used sources. In Chapter 1 the author analyzes the concept, principles and legal regulation of compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners. In Chapter 2 the author examines the contract of compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicles, essential terms and order of conclusion, change, termination of the contract. Chapter 3 considers the questions of subrogation and recourse in the system of civil liability insurance. The analysis allows to conclude that compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners is financial accountability of the tortfeasor in accordance with the Law "On mandatory insurance of civil liability of owners of vehicles" the extent and plays an important role not only for vehicle owners, insurers and victims (beneficiaries), but also for society as a whole. On the basis of the conducted analysis, the author proposes to make the following changes to the current system of compulsory insurance of civil liability must be paid in the priority of natural compensation insurance for all categories of vehicles and to amend the Federal law "About obligatory insurance of a civil liability of owners of vehicles".
