Research and Development of the Control Board of the Electromechanical Prosthetic Human Wrist Resistant to ESD Konstantinov Yury Abstract In this paper, the object of the study were the microcontrollers of the control board of the electromechanical prosthesis of the human hand. The aim of the work is the development and investigation of effective methods for protecting the microcontrollers of the control board of the electromechanical prosthesis of a human hand from the impact of ESD. In the course of the work, an analysis of the effects of ESD on microcontrollers was performed, and as a test model for determining the MC sensitivity to these influences, a CDM model was chosen with conditions corresponding to the level of the system. The characteristics of protective diodes were simulated in the LTspice environment. A technique has been developed to select protective TVS and ESD diodes that ensure the reliability and fault tolerance of the microcontroller while designing the control board. Based on the simulation results in the LTspice environment, the necessary ESD protective diodes have been selected to ensure the reliability and fault tolerance of the control board: • ESD231-B1-W0201 for the 5 V line. • ESD102-U1-02ELS ESD102-U4-05L for 3 V line. Based on the research carried out in this dissertation, in July 2017, the company "Motorika" plans to conduct tests on a real prototype arm prosthesis and the subsequent introduction into batch production. Explanatory note to the master's thesis contains 68 pages, 41 figure, 13 tables. Used 15 sources of literature.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

Summaries of all theses must be published and made freely available on the HSE website.
