Business and Government in Russia:How the Political Regime Effect on Social Positioning of Business
Political Science
(Bachelor’s programme)
2017
The paper "Business and Power in the Russian Federation: How the Political Regime Affects the Social Positioning of Business" is about the problems associated with the impact of the government actions on Russian business and its relationships with society. The purpose of this paper is to identify the correlation between public opinion about important issues, the opinion about business itself and objective facts from Russian practice of the relationship between business and the government, and determine degree of influence of the political regime on the ability of businesses to conduct successful activities for the benefit of society.

To achieve the goal, the paper was devided into three semantic parts: the first part reflects the Russian reality from the standpoint of neocorporatism and gives us an opportunity to understand the ongoing processes in the sphere of interaction between business and the government. The second part is devoted to the analysis of public opinion on the issues which we are interested in, and the third part is to determine the technology for positioning the business used at this stage of development of our society and the mechanisms of the influence of state power on business activities. As a result of the research, we came to the conclusion that the state power has a consumer attitude to business, and the political regime has a decisive influence on the state of affairs of the Russian entrepreneurs.
