Forming of Approach to Human Resources Management in Mergers and Acquisitions Projects in Russia

This research is devoted to a complex and multifaceted problem: the Human Resources Management (HRM) at the stages of the companies mergers and acquisitions (M&A). As a result of the theoretical and practical analysis of case studies and interviews, the hypotheses were confirmed that a systematic approach to HRM in the life cycle of the M&A project, as well as the early involvement of HR specialists in the integration phases of the M&A project, enhances the success of the M&A. The result of this study is the formed approach to HRM in mergers and acquisitions projects of companies. In addition, the main HRM factors that increase the success of the M&A are highlighted.
