International Commercial Arbitration in the United Arab Emirates

Thesis is devoted to the development of the Institute of International Commercial Arbitration in the United Arab Emirates. The first chapter of this work reveals the legal regulation of the arbitration in the country, including a description of the draft law on arbitration, designed to bring the arbitration legislation of the UAE in accordance with the UNCITRAL Model Law. The second chapter is devoted to review and analysis of the court and arbitration practice of the Dubai Court of Cassation. Furthermore, description of the main international arbitration institutions and specifics of cases in these institutions is given.
