Analysis of the Main Approaches and Development of Basic Solutions for Ensuring Information Security for Hybrid Cloud Systems

The master thesis aims to investigate hybrid cloud security threats and vulnerabilities. To that end it reviews the history of development of hybrid technologies, identifies to date threats to hybrid systems and make recommendations on the ways of securing hybrid clouds in an organization. In the introduction it draws upon the relevance of hybrid cloud security issues as among the most modern technological trends, yet also challenged with security risks. Among the issues discussed are the users’ data security and trust between the clients and hosters. The first chapter presents the historical review of hybrid cloud systems starting from their emergence up to nowadays. The second and the third chapters investigate the advantages and disadvantages of hybrid clouds, the actual threats and vulnerabilities to which these systems are exposed to. The thesis concludes with recommendations on the ways of securing hybrid clouds in an organization. The master thesis comprises 57 pages, 18 figures and 49 literature sources in accordance with the requirements to thesis implementation.
