Development of medical rehabilitation is оne of the world health trends of the 21st century. It is connected with increasing in the average life expectancy and value for quality of life. Modern medical rehabilitation is based on the principles of multidisciplinarity and patient orientation. It is aimed at the maximum possible improvement of the patient's functional status and integration patient into society. This research is devoted to the description of models of medical rehabilitation, assessment of their clinical and economic effectiveness and analysis of rehabilitation development in Russia.
