Features of the Party System as a Factor of the Financial Industrial Groups Reform in South Korea

This research is focused on the reform of the Korean financial industrial groups and on a role, which the Korean party system plays in this process. In this work, The Advocacy Coalition Framework, The Multiple Streams Framework and theoretical approaches to the analysis of party systems became a theoretical frame of the research. A practical part of this work is based on studying of those reforms, which were undertaken, and the characteristic of convocations of parliament, which undertook these reforms. Results of our research showed that policy change happens during the periods of "policy windows", while reforms depends on character of the focusing event and are influenced by ideological polarization of party system, coherence of parliamentary activities , autonomy of the political parties, presented in parliament.
