Unemployment is one of the most important elements of the la-bor market, which affects the quantity and value of goods and sevices produced, and therefore the entire economy of the country. Unemployment can depend on many factors, geo-graphic, economic, socio-demographic. However, for each country, their interconnection and impact on unemployment will be different. In this work, countries were segmented on the basis of indicators obtained mainly from the World Bank web-site, for forecasting unemployment regression models were constructed as well as the decision tree. A dependence was found between the level of education and unemployment, which indicates that the education sector needs investments to improve the quality of education, and hence the labor force of the country.
