Development of Software Asset Management Quality

The purpose of this final qualifying work is the elaboration of proposals for the development of software asset management quality in Company XXX by improving the maturity level of SAM processes. In the theoretical part of the study, the basics of software asset management were analyzed, including standards that deal with SAM processes and SAM maturity assessment models, and the influence of the interaction of processes on the quality of software asset management was investigated. The analytical part of the work defines the current maturity level in the software asset management in Company XXX based on the maturity model of Microsoft, identified the problematic places and sources of their occurrence. In the practical part of the study, proposals for the development of software asset management quality in Company XXX were elaborated, in particular, the sequence and duration of actions to develop the quality of software asset management, the procedures necessary to implement these actions and the responsibility matrix (RACI) for the implementation of these procedures. In this study general scientific methods such as analysis, comparison, generalization, modeling, observation, questioning, interviewing, deduction and induction methods were used. The theoretical basis of the research is formed by the principles of software asset management and approaches to the implementation of the SAM methodology proposed by domestic and foreign authors, as well as methodologies and standards affecting the software asset management. The work contains 18 tables, 9 drawings, 10 applications, consists of 121 pages and refers to 39 sources.
