The Business and State Actors' Configuration and Its Impact on Trajectories of Exiting Financial and Economic Crises (the Case of Asian Financial Crisis, 1997-1998)
The paper provides a fresh sight on the issues of political economy during the Asian financial crisis. The proposed analysis model of countries trajectory towards crisis exit supplements the existing body of literature about an ifluence of interest groups on economic policy making process. It also finds out some new issues of government decisions during the period of economic instability. As a result we reveale that the configeration of public and private sectors plays an important role in decision making on the way to stabilization but the complex set of variables is required to understand developments deeply.
