Study of the Interrelation Between Innovation Development and Quality of Life

The scope of the present study is to examine the relationship between innovation activity and a quality of life. The main goal lies in identifying whether the level of innovation and the life quality are dependent. In the following analysis, we consider the dynamics of innovation measures and indices, which determine the quality of life, we shall distinguish the key tendencies intrinsic to Russia during the period of 2010–2015. Then, we shall conduct the international comparison and assess the regional patterns in Russia. Also, the most significant factors of innovative development are to be estimated based on the official statistics data by the means of principal component analysis and panel regression.
