The issue of eating disorders (ED) and various aspects of the course of the disease has been widely discussed in scholarly works. However, very little is still known about the recovery. The aim of this study is therefore to investigate practices of coping with ED. Pro-ana community is considered to be one of the major practices of girls with eating disorders. Thus the inclusion in the pro-ana community is seen as a linguistic practice through which non-linguistic practices of recovery can be identified through the discourse of analysis. 80 post were analyzed during the content analysis. Fifteen interviews have been conducted with respondents of 16-20 years of age who have online account in the Instagram. It was discovered that it is important for the group to get rid of the ED-practices, such as: bodily control and control of food, and restore health. I argue that the goal of restoration is the desire to learn practices of "normal" people.
