Evaluation of the Readiness of a Company's IT-Department for Digital Business Transformation

Digital transformation as a process of transition to digital business dictates new conditions for the organization of processes, both enterprise management in general, and management of IT departments in particular, as this is one of the driving forces of business digitalization. To meet new requirements, new principles for evaluating management processes should appear. In this paper, a model is developed for assessing the maturity of the management of the IT department to assess its readiness for digital transformation of the company as a whole. To do this, an analysis was made of current trends in the development of IT management practices; Existing approaches to assessing the digital maturity of enterprises and evaluating the management processes of the IT department are explored. Based on the study, a model was developed and presented in the form of a questionnaire consisting of 30 questions. To determine the weights of the assessment factors, we used the regression analysis of the results of the companies survey conducted based on the developed model. The model was applied in the company Kupishuz, and based on the evaluation; recommendations were made on the development of the maturity level in the company.
