The Impact of Political Factors on the Implementation of the Health Reform "ObamaCare" in the States of the USA in 2013-2016
This paper focuses on ObamaCare reform analysis. The purpose is to reveal the reasons why in some States it was successful, while in the others it seemed to fail. Statistical methods of analysis will be used to figure out the political factors that could affect its implementation from 2013 to 2016 in each State. Among them there could be distinguished: upcoming elections, veto players, the effective number of parties and swing States features. As a result, we have republican governor, public approval, swing state and Medicaid expansion factors to determine the outcomes of the reform in each state.
