Graduate paper is devoted to the analysis of violence in modern terrorist organizations as Аl-Qaeda and ISIS, identifying differences in their structure and ideology. The main goal of this work is to reveal the peculiarities of the type of violence is used in these networks, their network types, and their goals. The work consists of three chapters, introduction, conclusion, bibliographical list, application. The first Chapter is devoted to theoretical approaches to understanding power, the concepts of violence and Islamism. The second Chapter is devoted to the analysis of terrorist organizations, the concepts of network organizations and their characteristics. The third Chapter consists of 3 parts. In the first two analyses the development process of al-Qaeda and DAISH, and the third part — the empirical, the historical and network analysis of structures. All the conclusions are supported by diagrams, tables, presented in Appendix. Work is carried out in the framework of the theory of network organizations, a theoretical framework is set to straight binary, crosstemporal and historical approaches.
