Comparative Analysis of the Methods of Assessing the Cost-Effectiveness of Information Security in the Organization of the System Projects

Master qualification work includes a theoretical review and a comparative analysis of methods for assessing the economics' effectiveness of information security projects. The comparison base contains four methods are selected: TCO, ROI, PP and NPV. The result of the analysis is an opinion on the use of methods by different types of organizations, outlines the problems of the information security economy and offers of practical recommendations for their solution.
