The relevance of the topic of this work is also conditioned by the strengthening of the practical importance of the Basic Law of the country, which regulates economic relations as the source of the right of direct action, which establish the relationship between the economic model and public authority. The aim of the study is a comprehensive approach to the study of the constitutional model of the Russian economic system, as well as the model of interaction between the state and the economy to substantiate the prospects for the development of the modern Russian constitutional model of the economy. The object of research are public relations, which underlie the formation and functioning of the constitutional model of the economic system of modern Russia. The subject of the study is the principles and categories that together form the basis of the constitutional economic system of the country, the general patterns in the interaction of the country's Basic Law and economic relations.
