Factors and Effects of Innovation in the Russian Economy at the Meso-level: Regional Breakdown

In work on empirical data, the dependence of the change in the volume of innovative products, as an indicator of innovation activity, on various factors, including on different types of innovation costs, is analyzed. Effects of innovation activity are revealed on the basis of a comparison of the economies of the leading regions and other regions. The analysis is carried out at the territorial level by regions of Russia for 2006-2014.
