Development of Zeppelin Rusland Spare Parts Transportation Process

In this diploma the trading company's Zeppelin Russland transportation process was investigated. The study analyzes current transportation costs, the detalied research of spare parts transportation between company's warehouses is also conducted. To solve the tasks set (improving the transportation process) various methods were used in the works, both general (analysis) and practical (the comparison of transportation routes according to derived criteria). The diploma is completed on 107 pages. It consists of an introduction, three chapters (in which the economical activity of the enterprise has been studied, main theoretical issues related to transportation in supply chain have been examined, practical calculations and recommendations for reducing costs have been made), conclusion, a list of literature consisting of 26 sources, and 3 applications . In this study 24 figures and 10 tables were used. This work is also relevant for the management of the company, because in the course of detailed transportation analysis, the ground has also been prepared for further research in this area, for example, the analysis of various factors' influence on the value of the cost indicator, etc. As a result of this research, a number of routes were reorganized, which resulted in cost saving.
