Influence of Gamification on Educational Programs Development using an Example of NRU HSE

The work is devoted to using of the concept of gamification in the educational process and its impact on the development of educational programs based on the example of the Higher School of Economics. In the framework of this paper, such phenomenon as gamification in modern education with consideration of some successful examples of its application will be analyzed. Also, the results of a survey of teachers at the Higher School of Economics about attitudes toward gamification and the willingness to use specific gaming practices in their educational courses will be provided. In conclusion, some of the popular gaming educational services will be reviewed and described, and brief recommendations on their use in the training courses of the Higher School of Economics based on the intersection with the competency map will be given.
