Regularities of Media Managers Career in Russia, 2000-2015
This Master’s dissertation attempts to determine socio-demographic characteristics and career paths of the most successful contemporary Russian media managers in the segments of TV, radio, print and online media. Biographies of 200 media managers were analyzed according to such criteria as gender, age, place of birth, education, career starting position and type of career. The results of the study are presented for the total sample of media managers and for each of the four media segments separately.
