This topic pertains to both optimization of government expenses and long-term development of professional football as a self-sufficient and profitable business activity.

Based on a comparative analysis of domestic and foreign practices and on analyzing financial stability of Russian football clubs using the Altman Z-score, specific recommendations were made to increase the revenue base and modify the revenue structure of Russian clubs.
