Automation of Company X Procurement Activity via ERP System

This analytical survey contains an analysis of procurement business function in the company X. The aim of this study is to develop requirements for procurement information system and to analyze, if SAP ERP system is able to fulfill those requierments. The main part of the study consists of three parts. The first one defines general characteristics of the company, including organizational set-up and procurement department structure. The second part of the survey consists of procurement process models and its description. All the models were built via Erwin Process Modeler and Aris Express tools. Finally, in the third part system requirements and the possibilities of procurement processes optimization by using SAP-ERP will be evaluated and an estimated result of potential integrating project in Company X will be given. All the requirements are based on K.Vigers methodology.
