This paper provides an analysis of methods of calculation the stockage holding level, methods for processing primary data, forecast error evaluation methods and selection of inventory management strategy. The model of inventory management has been developed for systems, where the time cycle of orders fulfillment is longer than time cycle between two consecutive order placement. The algorithm of inventory management in supply chains has been developed.
