Blockchain Technology Introduction for Business Processes Optimization

The work is written on the subject of "Implementation of blockchain technology to optimize business processes of the company," concretized in the process of writing to the business processes in the insurance industry. The goal was set to conduct a critical analysis of the blockchain technology with its possibilities and consequences of the use in the field of insurance, thus try to define the limits of its applicability in the chosen field of study. The following tasks were set to achieve this: to examine all possible sources on the blockchain technology, examine existing case studies of the use of technology, learn the basic business processes in the insurance industry, explore the case studies of the use of technology in the field of insurance and to form them on the basis of the limits of applicability; on the example of the company "prosto-insurance" analyze how the practice changed business processes in the organization after the implementation of blockchain technology; to form a TO BE processes for the main processes in the insurance of assuming that there is set the necessary infrastructure. The work is divided into three parts. The first Chapter is a study of the technology and it also discusses its capabilities and limitations. The second Chapter represents a review of the basic processes of insurance, gathering information on how it can improve the functioning of insurance and its obstacles and consequences. It also demolished two cases of the blockchain implementation and provided two main TO BE insurance process in the conditions of acceptance of the technology on the governmental level. The third Chapter was determined to provide analysis of actually existing in the Russian market company "prosto-insurance". As a result optimization the area of insurance and possible consequences were studied, on the basis of the studied cases the boundaries of applicability of technology were formed and TO BE processes in hypothetical conditions were provided.
