The Effect of New Financial Technologies on Russian Banks Efficiency

Final qualification work is devoted to an assessment of influence of new financial technologies on the Russian banks performance. Chapter 1 describes the key concept "FinTech", its examples in Russia, and the statistics of its use by banks and financial technical-companies. Chapter 2 contains information about the process of integration of new financial technologies into the operating Russian bank system. It is described how fintech can influence on the banks efficiency, and the regression analysis of this efficiency is made. In chapter 3 the main thing is set of two basic models with return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE). Also, their importance is compared and the perspective of development of the FinTech-industry in the Russian market are described. The main goal of the work is the econometric research which allow to reveal those indicators who influence on financial banks efficiency. This work fills such criteria as: 1. uniqueness: two basic models for an influence assessment are offered; 2. relevance of a subject: the market of financial services develops in high gear in Russia; 3. practical importance: application of total model will allow banks to use efficiency the financial technologies introduced by them. At the end of work the analysis of development of the FinTech-industry for the next years is submitted. Work volume – 76 sheets, 55 sources, no supplements.
