The present paper describes a study that examines the relations between work-life balance and marital satisfaction. Examination of the relations between the two notions was divided into two stages. Empirical investigation of the relations between work and life characteristics and balance of the two was carried out on the first stage and showed us an absence of straight link between the notions. Furthermore, the first stage results allowed us to suppose a more complex relation between the notions. Psychotherapy of a single client’s case with relevant problem was carried out on the second stage and helped us partially confirm the main hypothesis about the link between work-life balance and marital satisfaction. During psychotherapy we have also confirmed the efficiency of narrative approach during the therapy of such problems. The results of the study are consistent with other investigations in the field of work-life balance and marital satisfaction.
