Assessment of the Prospects for the Development of Sharing Economy in Russia

This paper presents an overview of the sharing economy market based on data from the United States and Russia. A comparative analysis of the development of companies operating on the principles of sharing economy and traditional economic forms from the supply and the demand for these goods and services. As an example of successful development of economy in Russia developed a financial model of a start-up company "Project Svalka" representing a role of intermediary in collective consumption. The obtained results allow to conclude that the main factors for the sahring economy growth, such as the development of information technology, the lack of stable growth of incomes and global trends against of overproduction and environmental pollution are fully implemented in the domestic market. However, for proper growth of collective consumption prevent some legislative aspects, lack of widespread marketing campaigns and consumer behavior.
